Why do I receive a privacy notice when I have opted out?

Federal and state laws that govern the financial services industry require that we deliver a privacy notice (i) at the time your application is taken but, also (ii) annually thereafter for as long as our customer relationship continues. There is no exception to this requirement to deliver a notice, even for individuals who have opted out. But, you do not need to opt out again.

If I have previously opted out, do I need to opt out again?

Once you have opted out with Primerica, all insurance and securities products that list you by the same name and address are opted out. If you think you may have used a different name or prior address, you may want to opt out again using the variation on your name or current address.

Does Primerica sell personal information to other companies?

Primerica does not sell information to other direct marketers or anybody else. As specified in our privacy notices, Primerica may, however, provide information of individuals who have not opted out to members of its sales force, who offer various Primerica products and other products sold through Primerica (for example, Pre-paid Legal Protection, Lincoln annuities, Legg Mason mutual funds).
