Steps to take before you import contacts

When you import contacts with the Primerica App, you are sharing their information with your Uplines and Primerica. Since you have already discussed products or services with these contacts, you must follow these steps before importing their information.

Before you import contacts with the Primerica App

1. Deliver a Privacy Notice


2. Wait 30 days for the person to decide if he wants to restrict you from sharing his or her information


3. Lastly, check to see if the person submitted an Opt Out. See POL Opt Out Inquiry to determine if he or she opted out.

Make a note of when you send the Contact a privacy notice. If 30 days after you sent the notice the Opt Out Inquiry system doesn’t list your contact, you can then import that Contact’s information.
