CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT NOTICE FOR PRIMERICA

(English | Español)

Effective January 1, 2020; Last Updated January 2022

Primerica, Inc. and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, "Primerica," "we," "us" and "our") are committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information. We provide this California Consumer Privacy Act Notice for Primerica ("CCPA Notice" and "Notice") in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA"). This Notice supplements the information and policies on the Primerica Privacy Page and applies solely to Personal Information we collect from or about California residents who are covered by Section 1798.100 of the CCPA ("California Consumers," "you" and "your").

This Notice uses the CCPA's definition of "Personal Information," which means categories of information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to a particular individual or household. "Personal Information" does not include publicly available information or consumer information that is deidentified or aggregate consumer information.

Please note Primerica's affiliate company e-TeleQuote Insurance, Inc. maintains a separate CCPA Notice, available here, and e-TeleQuote Insurance, Inc. is not contemplated by this Notice.

> Why, and to whom, are we providing this CCPA Notice?
The CCPA gives California Consumers the right to know what Personal Information companies collect about them, including whether it is being sold or disclosed to third parties, and the right to prevent companies from selling that information. The CCPA also prevents companies from retaliating against California Consumers for exercising these rights. Companies must continue to give California Consumers who exercise the right to refuse sale of their Personal Information access to equal products for equal prices.

This Notice provides the disclosures required by the CCPA and applies to Primerica's online and offline activities that are subject to this disclosure right. More details on how we collect information through our websites and online services is available in our Online Privacy Policy.

The CCPA's disclosure right–and this CCPA Notice–does not apply to personal information that is covered by certain other laws, including medical or protected health information covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and personal information covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Driver's Privacy Protection Act of 1994 (DPPA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and related state privacy laws and regulations. Information about how we collect, use and disclose information in other contexts, including our GLBA Privacy Notices for individuals who request or obtain our financial services products, is available on our Primerica Privacy Page.
